John Aloisi tells Adam Taggart to focus on Brisbane Roar, not Socceroos

Adam Taggart struck twice to give Brisbane Roar their first win of the A-League season. Brisbane striker Adam Taggart needs more than his current purple patch of scoring to break into the Socceroos squad, his coach John Aloisi says. Taggart has netted five goals in five A-League games this season, including a brace last weekend, to stake a claim to be part of Australia's squad for the Asian Cup in January. But while Aloisi is certain the 25-year-old marksman will one day return to the international ranks, he says Taggart needs a prolonged stretch of form to warrant a Socceroos berth.
